Estimados hermanos, amigos y familia,
Han pasado 10 meses desde que arribamos a Holanda. Han sido meses muy intensos y con la característica de la montaña rusa, subidas y bajadas; a ratos todo es dorado y en otros momentos el opuesto. Hace 1 año y 4 meses que salimos de Los Ángeles, California, y resume el total de tiempo de esta nueva etapa ministerial.
Durante este periodo hemos visto la mano de Dios en todo, supliendo para nuestras necesidades básicas, y algunos viajes ministeriales; caminando con nosotros, riendo, llorando, esperando, guardando silencio, enviándonos hermanos, amigos, familiares y desconocidos para hospedar ministrarles y acompañarnos lo cual nunca habíamos tenido con tanta frecuencia en un periodo tan corto (Ámsterdam). Todo esto ha sido de ánimo, fortaleza y gran bendición.
Como fruto y trabajo ministerial, hemos dirigido la alabanza en varias oportunidades aquí en la base principalmente con sentido multicultural, (estamos apoyando este ministerio en general), enseñamos un curso sobre pos-modernidad en la escuela de evangelismo pionero, afectando la vida de unos 20 jóvenes y misioneros. Servimos por medio del ministerio ETHNOS como prioridad y colaboramos con De Cleft y el Tabernáculo de Oración.
A través de ellos respectivamente:
A- Roy se ha involucrado en los eventos de N2N en Barcelona España y Orlando Fl. USA. Hemos hecho evangelismo en diferentes plazas en la ciudad, en las calles y los puentes sobre los canales del distrito de la luz roja.
B- Barbie ha ministrado entre las trabajadoras sexuales del mismo distrito. Roy dirige adoración y predica regularmente en el servicio que se hace para los indigentes los martes por la noche en De Cleft. Este martes 21 Roy predicaba pero la presencia del Señor fue tan palpable, que estas personas que vienen drogadas o con algún trastorno por el tipo de vida que llevan en las calles guardaron silencio impresionados al experimentar casi tangiblemente la presencia de Dios allí y Roy funciono solamente como facilitador de ello.
C- Con el tabernáculo de oración, colaboramos con la música, además de la producción y proyección de imágenes todos los viernes durante el evento de adoración e intercesión multicultural por el mundo y sus diferentes necesidades.
Finalmente, una amiga de Karissa de California musulmana se convirtió en una de sus visitas, también estamos tratando de alcanzar a una de las compañeras de escuela de Karissa y su familia, una chinita compañera de Fiorella y algunos compañeros de Roy de clases de holandés. Además de la amistad con el alumno de guitarra de Roy y su mamá, quien administra algunas de las ventanas del distrito. Con ellos tomamos café (cenamos) los domingos por la tarde, desarrollando una relación familiar, con la esperanza de que ellos vean al Señor en nuestra familia y decidan seguirle como nosotros lo hacemos.

Dear brethren, friends and family,
We arrived in Holland 10 months ago already. They have been intense months, with the characteristic roller coaster ride, with its ups and downs, sometimes everything is beautiful and good, and other times it’s the opposite. We left Los Angeles, California, 16 months ago beginning this new ministry stage.
We have seen God’s hand over us at all times, supplying our basic needs, some ministry trips; walking with us, crying, waiting, laughing, keeping silent, sending us people, friends, family and people we don’t know to stay at our place to minister to and keep us company. This had never happened before as frequently as it has in such a short time (Amsterdam). This has all served to encourage, strengthen and bless us.
We have lead worship several times here at the base especially multiculturally (we are supporting this ministry in general);we taught a course on post-modernity in the School of Evangelism & Pioneering, affecting the lives of some 20 young people & missionaries. We serve through Ethnos ministry as a priority and cooperate with De Cleft & the Tabernacle of Prayer.
Through these ministries respectively:
A- Roy has been involved in the N2N events in Barcelona, Spain & Orlando, Fl. USA. We have done evangelism in different parts of the city, on the streets and bridges over the channels in the Red Light District.
B- Barbie has ministered to the sexual workers in the same district. Roy leads worship & preaches regularly in the service open to the homeless Tuesday nights at De Cleft. This Tuesday the 21st, Roy was going to preach but the presence of the Lord was so strong that these people that sometimes are high on drugs or have some kind of affection because of the life they live on the streets remained in silence because they could almost touch God. Roy was just a facilitator.
C- We help out with the music in The Tabernacle of Payer, plus we help with the production and projection of the images every Friday during worship and multicultural Intercession for the world and its different needs.
Finally, a friend of Karissa’s, a Californian Muslim accepted the Lord in one of her visits, we are also reaching out to one of her classmates from school and her family, plus Fiorella’s Chinese classmate and some of Roy’s classmates from Dutch classes; plus Roy’s guitar student and his mom who administers some Windows in the Red Light District. We drink coffee or have dinner with the two of them every Sunday afternoon, hoping the see the Lord in our family and decide to follow Him as we do. We are starting to feel like family,.
